GSUK wins at Green World Awards in Dubai
A delegation from GSUK, the Surbiton-based international electronics recovery and recycling specialist has just returned from Dubai after being awarded with a Green Apple World Environment Award.
Founded twelve years ago by entrepreneur Chris McBride, the company which combines its electronics global distribution reach with world leading recycling capabilities, competed against more than 500 nominations across the international sector. McBride and colleagues were presented with their trophy at a gala event in Dubai on 11th December 2017.
Their winning paper has now been published in The Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice, so that others around the world can follow their example and learn from their approach to supporting the circular economy.

The awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international independent non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
They are supported by the Environmental Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Waste Management and other independent bodies.
